Award Categories

Buildings are submitted by region as follows:
- Scotland
- The North of England, North Wales and Northern Ireland
- The Midlands and East Anglia
- London and the South East
- South West of England, Thames Valley and South Wales
The categories under which schemes can be submitted are:
- Corporate Workplace
- Commercial Workplace
- Fit Out of Workplace
- Refurbished/Recycled Workplace
- Projects up to 2,000m²
- Innovation
Notes of entry
Projects can be entered in more than one category.The BCO may present Regional and National Awards for each category, except the Innovation Award which is judged nationally.
Projects do not need to be occupied in order to be eligible for submission in the Awards.
All projects must have been completed between 1st January (4 years prior to submission) and 1st November (year of submission).
Commercial and Refurbished/Recycled base build projects may also be separately entered in the Fit-out category.
