GUEST SPEAKER

http://www.bco.org.uk/uploaded/Peter_M_18_.jpgPeter Murray
Founder and Chairman, Wordsearch

Peter Murray is founder and Chairman of Wordsearch the leading global branding and communications agency specialising in property and architecture. He is also chairman of the New London Architecture Centre and Director of the London Festival of Architecture.

Peter trained as an architect but turned to journalism rather than practice: he edited Building Design newspaper and the RIBA Journal before starting Blueprint magazine. Stuart Lipton was a fan of the magazine and, searching for a fresh approach to property marketing, invited the Blueprint team to design brochures for Broadgate. This led to a growing business in the branding and promotion of real estate which now operates around the globe. Major current projects include Masdar City in Abu Dhabi and the World Trade Center in New York as well as Broadgate, 25 years on.

Peter is also a trustee of Article 25 which provides professional construction and design advice in the aftermath of disasters and is currently very active in Haiti, he is founder and chairman of the Cycle to Cannes charity and editor in chief of New London Quarterly magazine.
