Judging Process

The expertise and commitment shown by Regional and National judges is superb and helps make the BCO Awards one of the most rigorous judging processes and, therefore, worthwhile in the property industry.

National Judging Chair Statement

Chairman's forewordThe projects which qualified for the 2011 Awards were commissioned at a time of great uncertainty - those which qualify for 2012 will have been conceived and delivered at a time when that uncertainty turned into the harsh reality of recession.

The judges and organisers are particularly keen to be able to review the effects of these tough conditions on the built product of that time, in order to be able to demonstrate the depth and resilience of this sector - as well as the boldness of those who persevered in an extremely difficult market.
